Harz High End Holiday Apartments
Check-in/Check-out: The holiday apartment is available from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival, or by prior arrangement. Earlier check-in times are possible subject to availability. A service fee will be charged for check-in before 12:00 PM, subject to availability. Check-in is contactless only. Guests will receive a code for both the main entrance door and the apartment door on their internet-enabled mobile phone. Access is only possible via mobile phone. An exception is a transponder, which can be provided against a deposit. On the day of departure, the holiday apartment must be vacated by 10:00 AM. We reserve the right to charge for late departures. Late check-out is available upon request and for a fee.
Access to the apartment is exclusively via the NUKI app on an internet-enabled mobile phone. Each registered person receives their own access to the doors on their phone. This prevents unauthorized individuals from entering. A Ring camera is installed at the entrance door. Every person entering the apartment is recorded by the camera. Since we offer contactless check-in, we still want to be reachable for our guests. The camera only shows the entrance to the apartment.
Duty of Care: The holiday apartment will be handed over by us in a clean condition. The tenant may only report defects on the day of arrival. Later defects will be considered the tenant's fault and will be charged accordingly. We ask that any damage incurred during the rental period be reported immediately. A photo via WhatsApp is sufficient. We will then consider whether we need to claim compensation.
The tenant is liable for any damage they cause to the rental property and its contents. The contents must be treated with care and are intended to remain in the holiday apartment only. Rearranging furnishings, especially beds, is prohibited. In the event of a breach of contract, such as subletting, exceeding the maximum occupancy, disturbing the peace, or failure to pay the full rental price, the landlord may terminate the contract without notice. Any payments already made by the tenant will remain with the landlord in this case. Should the tenant wish to claim on their liability insurance for any potential damages, they must inform the landlord, providing their name, address, and policy number.
Theft: If you happen to like something, we can tell you where we bought it. If you steal it, we will file a police report. It doesn't matter what the item is.
Furniture Weight Limits: We have selected high-quality furniture from the standard range available in furniture stores. The seating is designed for a maximum weight of 120 kg, and the beds for up to 150 kg per side. Should damage or breakage occur due to overloading, the guest cannot expect compensation or damages from us due to ignorance of the furniture's weight limits. Otherwise, we expect the guest to respect this fact and act in their own best interest. If necessary, we agree to an immediate cancellation of the booking should the guest have overlooked this limitation due to a lack of awareness.
Pets are not allowed in the holiday apartments. These apartments are suitable for allergy sufferers. In case of non-compliance, we reserve the right to terminate the rental agreement without notice and arrange for professional cleaning at the tenant's expense. Silvia is unfortunately severely allergic, and although we love dogs, they trigger respiratory distress for her.
Kitchen: All items, appliances, and cookware in the kitchen must be left in perfect, clean condition. Do not place hot pots on the countertop or table. Wipe up any spills immediately and only put dishes away dry and clean in the cupboards. Empty the trash can and do not dispose of cigarette ash in the kitchen; instead, take it directly to the garbage chute (entrance to the right of the elevator). The smell will remain in the cupboard, which can be very unpleasant for non-smokers.
Living area: The Magenta app is installed on the TV; regular TV programs can only be viewed via the app. The TV is not connected to an antenna. The Wi-Fi network isn't as stable as you might be used to. We're in the Harz Mountains, and there are occasional short blackouts. Don't worry, it recovers.
Smoking: This is a non-smoking apartment. Smokers may use the balcony with the door closed to ensure no smoke enters the apartment. As previously stated, please dispose of the cold contents of the ashtray only in the garbage chute. Failure to comply will result in professional cleaning, which will be billed to the tenant.
Misuse of the apartment is prohibited: commercial videography, commercial photography, illegal activities such as parties, sales events, group meetings, and celebrations. Rearranging furniture or removing items from the apartment is also prohibited. Noise is not permitted. Any violation will result in immediate termination of the lease without refund. Photos and videos for your own social media channels are permitted, and we would appreciate a link. harz-high-end.de
Quiet hours: Daily between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. and 10 p.m. and 8 a.m.
Guests and Visitors: This topic is not always understood. It is not permitted to receive additional guests in any of the apartments. The nightly rate depends on the number of people booked. This includes utilities and wear and tear on the furnishings. Unfortunately, in the past, there have been instances where people have used the apartment free of charge as visitors. A vacation apartment is similar to a hotel and not like a regular rental apartment. Should you nevertheless plan to have a visitor, please contact us so we can offer you a daily rate. The maximum number of people for whom the respective apartment can be booked is the determining factor.
Apartment Nicholas is suitable for a maximum of 2 adults plus 2 children up to 17 years old. Apartment Stefanie is suitable for 2 adults plus one child up to 5 years old, and Apartment Exklusiv is suitable for 2 adults plus one child up to 17 years old. Each guest must be listed at the time of booking. Should the number of guests exceed the number booked, a penalty fee of €50 will be charged for each additional person. We reserve the right to evict guests in this case.
Tourist tax: The tourist tax is due one day before arrival. Exceptions apply to last-minute bookings.
